Set in Post-War 1940s England, the audience is thrown into a raucous family party being held in celebration of the passing of Walter, father of Joseph and Mary and successful apothecarist. Watch the plot unravel as tensions run high between characters in the wake of an unaccountable killing.

Katherine Riviera

Katherine is a beautiful young woman of 24 years. She fell in love with Joseph when she was 17. They met at Priscilla and Trevor’s wedding in 1938. 

Mickey Marshall

Mickey was in the same squadron as Joe and Mary’s late husband Henry. Mickey and Joe grew up together. He always loved Katherine but never said anything.

Pricilla Marshall

Priscilla is a very sour bitter woman. She is constantly jealous of her sister, who always seems to get more attention than she does. Her husband has been injured in the war.

Joseph Marshall

Joe is an unlikable character with a drinking problem. He has been with Florence since before the war. Joe and his sister Mary host the event in memory of their father.

Mary Howard

Mary is a very sweet natured and loving character who cares a lot about her family. Mary is Joseph’s younger sister.

Trevor Marshall

Trevor is a very modest and quiet character; he feels very sorry for himself. He is married to Priscilla. He left early from the war due to combat fatigue.
